Skateboarding franchise coming to Nintendo platforms.

IGN is reporting that Electronic Arts will soon announce Skate It, a spin-off from last year's Skate franchise, for the Nintendo DS and Wii.

Rather than the analogue stick-centric control scheme featured in the original game, Skate It will rely on each system's unique input methods; I.E the touch screen, Wii Remote and Balance Board.

The game, set to be officially announced next week, will launch later this year. You can find additional details about what to expect in the game in IGN's interview with executive producer, Scott Blackwood.
