Disgaea DS Dated For PAL Territories

The portable version of Hour of Darkness hits in '09.


Square Enix today announced that it will release Nippon Ichi Software's portable remake of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Disgaea DS, on the Nintendo DS across Europe and other PAL territories in Spring 2009.

"I am delighted that we are able to bring Disgaea DS to players in Europe and PAL territories,” said John Yamamoto, President and Chief Executive Officer of Square Enix.
“Nippon Ichi has created a game perfectly suited for portable play that will entertain and challenge in equal measure."
Disgaea DS will allow for local wireless multiplayer battles (complete with customisable battle options), as well as item trading with friends. The game also boasts an extended story mode among other features.
