We thought Duke Nukem 3D on the Xbox Live Arcade  would be the closest we'd get to having an actual release of Duke Nukem Forever. It was ok, we'd accepted that. But now 3D Realms has teased us with two screenshots hidden in the XBLA port.

After unlocking all the game's achievements, two screenshots become available in the game's concept art gallery. One, seen above, depicts Duke confronting a revamped Octobrain from Duke Nukem 3D. The other just shows Duke posing in front of some strippers, shocking no one.

The Octobrain shot seems to be taken from a dam level, perhaps the Hoover Dam sequence that was supposed to be in Duke Nukem Forever back when it was running on the Quake 2 engine. Remember those days?
