Developer track record: Konductra is being developed by oeFun, a relatively new development house that is committed to development for both the Nintendo DS and the upcoming Nintendo Wii.

The Nintendo DS has been home to some great puzzle games so far, and O~3 Entertainment stands ready to further strengthen the genre with their announcement of Konductra. Scheduled for release “later this month”, according to their press release, O~3 promises fast-paced puzzle action and Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity.

Konductra promises more fast-paced puzzle action on the DS!

Konductra utilizes the touch-screen functionality of the Nintendo DS as players attempt to create and destroy lines of colored tiles. Although details are still pretty scarce, the game is said to have four modes of play: Task, Score, VS. CPU, and VS. Human. The VS. modes challenge players to destroy their own lines, adding them to their opponent’s grid. Once the grid fills up, the game is over. Multiplayer modes will be playable either in a local LAN or via Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connection.
