From what I played of it, developer Inis has maintained the same level of production quality in Elite Beat Agents that made the original so endearing. The majority of the game features clear, beautifully-animated anime-style drawings, but the little 3D that is there looks equally great. The sound quality of the recorded music was excellent. And yes, the game features fully-recorded songs with vocals, not cheap-sounding synthesized tunes.
A full songlist has not yet been announced for the American release, but if it is anything like the Japanese version it will consist mostly of rock songs, both well-known and completely obscure. In any case, Elite Beat Agents is looking to be a great game and a real treat for anyone looking for a good laugh, not to mention fans of the music game genre.
