Reloading is not the only problem that Touch the Dead suffers from. It seems that Dream On Studios tried to compensate for the ease of shooting things with the touch screen by making the game unfairly difficult. At times the game likes to throw hordes of enemies in your face and it seems to be impossible not to get hit... several times. I know House of the Dead can be just as guilty of this, but Touch the Dead does it way too much.

To top it off, your life is shared throughout the course of the game, and although you may have made it to the next save point it won't mean much if you only have two health points left. When you die and try to start from your last save point, you will be heartbroken to find you still only have two health points. Not to mention the fact that save points are few and far between.
When it was all over with, I was left unsatisfied. The game showed a lot of promise; it even got some things right, but broken systems and lack of polish resulted in a mediocre title. I wish that the developers would have really pushed the strategy elements of the game. There were many times while playing the game that I thought, "that would have been a great feature if they would have pushed this aspect of it".
While playing this game you will often find yourself staring down a hallway with several zombies approaching you from different distances and at different speeds. Obviously you will want to take out the zombie that is going to reach you first then move on to the next zombie. Dream On Studios could have made this a more complex decision by adding some strategy to the mix.
